The paper feels noticeably thicker than the cheap cone filters I used before, and the flat bottom makes the coffee drain slow and even. I get a sweeter, cleaner cup than I was getting with my old V60 setup, no channeling at all.

The flat-bottomed design really does change the extraction—my pours are more even and the coffee tastes cleaner than with my old cone filters. These papers hold their shape in the dripper without collapsing, which makes brewing feel less fussy.
