Santa Clara is een prachtig gebalanceerde single origin koffie uit Guatemala, met de zachte zoetheid van ahornsiroop, zacht geel fruit en een subtiele citrusfrisheid. Ingekocht via onze langdurige partner Ricardo Zelaya, blinkt deze veelzijdige koffie uit als zowel een rijke espresso als een gemakkelijk drinkbare filter, met voldoende zoetheid en body om moeiteloos te combineren met melk.
The citrus brightness is subtle but it lingers nicely on the finish, which makes this a great morning cup. I brewed it as a pour-over and the balance between the sweet and the fruit notes was spot on. Definitely ordering another bag.
That maple syrup sweetness really comes through in every sip, and it makes the espresso feel almost dessert-like without being heavy. The yellow fruit notes are subtle but keep things interesting, and it's been my go-to morning cup for the past week.
