CORAZÓN DE JESÚS

I usually go for darker roasts, but this one from the high-altitude slopes has a brightness I wasn't expecting. You can really taste the difference that family farming makes in the cup, feels honest and smooth.

The care the Alvarado family puts into each harvest is obvious from the first sip—there's a clean, almost piney brightness that makes me think of those mountain slopes. It brews up smooth with no bitterness, even when I let it steep a bit too long.

The altitude here really comes through in the cup—that slow descent from the mountain makes for a cleaner, sweeter brew than I'm used to. I've been making pour-overs every morning and the family's care in processing is obvious in every sip.
