ORIGAMI is a Japanese manufacturer that designs equipment to support the pursuit of the ultimate cup of coffee.

What we really like about our new Origami Dripper is the fact that you can use different shapes of filter paper:

  • Cone-shaped Origami or V60 paper (01) to enhance more acidity or
  • Kalita Wave paper (155) for more sweetness & body

The drippers are made with Mino Ware which has 400 years of history. Pottery has great heat conductivity. To achieve the ideal blooming & dripping time, the design team worked with many baristas to come up with the perfect shape and the 20-ribs depth to create the right air channels. The result is a clog-free brew that gives you smooth control over your extraction and brew time.

Holder Ring
We recommend buying your Origami with the Acacia wood holder or plastic holder that places the dripper in a good position over your server or mug. Our holder has a hole dimension of 5.5cm and it works for Origami sizes S and M.

Ori = Folding + G(k)ami = Paper
Origami is the Japanese Art of paper folding. Origami Drippers are inspired by the delicate, colourful and creative craft that has been an integral part of the Japanese culture for centuries.

  • Material: Ceramic (Mino-yaki)
  • Size: S (makes 2 cups)
  • Dimensions: 11.5cm (d) 7cm (h)
  • Drip Hole: 2.5cm
  • Origin: Made in Japan

Information of Mino Ware Ceramics
Your Origami Dripper may show small natural marks which comes with the material and manufacturing process. Air bubbles in the glaze sometimes created small marks. Natural iron content in the clay may leave tiny spots during the firing process. Tiny scratches may be visible from the pottery process. None of which has an impact on the brew quality and the uniqueness of this dripper from Japan makes it even more loveable.

Edward ★★★★★

The flat bottom and those curved ridges really let the coffee bloom evenly without stalling, even with my clumsy pouring. It's become the only dripper I reach for on slow mornings, and the ceramic holds heat so well that my last cup tastes as good as the first.

Victoria ★★★★★

Took me a few brews to dial in the pour, but once I did, the flow through those ridges is just so even—my cups have been noticeably cleaner and sweeter since I switched from my old V60. The ceramic body holds heat way better than I expected too.

Avery K. ★★★★★

The flat bottom and those spiral ridges inside really slow the flow down, so my brews taste way more balanced than with my old dripper. It’s become my go-to for a quiet weekend pour-over, and cleanup’s a breeze since the paper filter lifts right out.
