The washed process really lets the SL28 and SL34 varietals shine—my V60 brew came out clean with a bright, tea-like body that I haven't gotten from other Kenyan lots this year. At 1750 meters, the altitude gives it a crisp acidity that carries through even as the cup cools.
Pulled it as a double espresso and the crema was thick and golden, with a clean, bright body that cut right through the milk in my cortado. The SL28 and SL34 blend at this altitude really delivers that classic Kirinyaga snap.
Brewed it as a pour-over at 1750 meters altitude and got this bright, clean cup with a real stone-fruit sweetness I wasn’t expecting. The SL28 and SL34 blend holds up beautifully through the whole mug, makes me want to try it as espresso next.
