2024년 3월, 우리는 코스타리카의 유명한 타라주 지역에 있는 라 반데라로 돌아갔습니다. 푸르른 산비탈 높은 곳에 자리한 그의 아름다운 농장에서 디에고 이달고를 만났고, 햇볕에 말리는 커피의 진한 향이 확연히 느껴졌습니다. 디에고는 커피의 세심한 가공과 건조에 자부심을 가지고 있으며, 흥미로운 풍미의 배열을 만들어냅니다. 이번 시즌 라 반데라에서 두 번째로 들여온 로트는 이 훌륭한 필터 로트입니다.
I brewed this as a pour-over this morning and the natural process really shines through — it’s sweet and clean, no bitterness even as it cools. The Catuai varietal from that high Tarrazu altitude gives it a depth I haven’t found in cheaper bags.
My first brew was at 1950 meters from Tarrazu, and the natural process on this Catuai brings such a sweet, syrupy body that I've already ordered another bag.
