SHANTAWENE ANAEROBIC

I usually drink my coffee black and this one made me pause mid-cup — the tropical fruit notes are so loud they almost taste like a juice. The sweetness is intense but natural, not sticky, and it lingers nicely after each sip.

The first sip hit me like a mango smoothie—that vibrant tropical fruit note is exactly as promised. The intense sweetness carries through every cup, even as it cools, which I didn’t expect. Ground fine for my pour-over and it bloomed beautifully.

I've brewed a lot of Ethiopian beans over the years, but this one hits different—that fermented, intensely sweet kick is like nothing else in my rotation. The fruitiness lingers on the palate long after the cup is empty, which is exactly what I want from an anaerobic process.
