The apricot note is subtle but unmistakable, dancing underneath the cup's smooth body. I brewed this as my morning pour-over and it had that clean, washed-process brightness that made me slow down and actually taste it. Twenty years of dedication really shows in the balance here.
The caramel note really comes through in every sip, and the apricot adds just enough brightness to keep it interesting. I’ve been through a lot of washed coffees, but this one’s balance is on another level.
This is the first bag I’ve tried from this farm, and the caramel sweetness lingers in a way that makes every sip feel smooth and unhurried. The washed processing really lets the apricot pop without any bitterness, even as it cools.
