The view from the slopes of Pico da Bandeira must be incredible, and knowing it's grown organically on such a high-altitude farm gives me real peace of mind with every sip. Clayton's story from surfer to farmer adds a genuine touch you can almost taste in the quality.
I wasn't expecting much from a coffee grown this high up, but the organic farming really shines through in the cup. The fact that Clayton works the slopes of Pico da Bandeira without chemicals makes each sip feel a little more special.
The altitude really does something to the coffee here—the organic farming on Pico da Bandeira's slopes comes through in every sip, clean and bright. I've tried a lot of beans, but this one's got that rare depth that makes you slow down and actually taste it.
