ANNIVERSARY COFFEE

This is my third bag from Los Pirineos and the anaerobic process really shines through—sweet, almost wine-like depth without any harshness. Diego clearly knows his craft, and for a birthday release it feels special without being gimmicky.

The cherries off this lot are something else—that dark, wine-like finish from the anaerobic process is perfect for slow weekend mornings. Diego’s estate right by Berlin really shines through in the cup. Wish I’d grabbed two bags.

I’ve been brewing this as my afternoon pour-over and the sweetness from that anaerobic process is unlike anything I’ve had from a bag this price. Knowing it’s from Diego’s farm in Berlin makes each cup feel a little special, too.
