The washed process really lets the Caturra beans shine—I pulled a shot this afternoon and got this clean, balanced crema that lasted through the last sip. At 1450 meters, there's a brightness I wasn't expecting from an espresso roast, and it's already my go-to for the morning.
Cracked this bag open this morning and the beans are dense and glossy from the wash process—pulled a shot that’s syrupy sweet with a clean finish. The 1450-meter altitude really shows in the cup’s brightness, and the brothers clearly put care into every lot.
The washed Caturra from Tolima hits that perfect espresso balance—bright enough at 1450 meters but with a syrupy body that pulls a gorgeous crema. I’ve been through three bags already and it’s consistently sweet, never harsh.
