A beautifully balanced single origin coffee from Francisco Morales in Huehuetenango, offering notes of vanilla, milk chocolate and malt, lifted by sweet orange. Smooth, versatile and effortlessly enjoyable, it shines both as espresso coffee and with milk.
This bag lasted me two weeks, and the sweet orange note really shines through in a cortado. The vanilla and malt underneath keep it smooth enough for milk drinks, no bitterness even as it cools.
I’ve been pulling this as my daily shot for two weeks now and the sweet orange really does come through on the finish, exactly as promised. Smooth enough to drink black, but it also held up beautifully with milk in a cortado this morning.
Brewed a cup this morning and the malt and vanilla really come through, making it smooth enough to sip black without any bitterness. The sweet orange note lingers just enough to keep it interesting without overpowering the chocolate. Already ordered another bag.
